BIBLICAL MANDATE
"Go then and make disciples of all the nations..." Mathew 28:19 (Amplified) Purpose: It is our purpose to evangelize people throughout the world with the goal of establishing indigenous local churches, to train national leadership, and to support any aspect of missionary work.
THE ACOP MISSIONS DIVISION
Our Missions Division oversees an active missionary program that is endeavouring to bring the Gospel of Christ to the nations of the world, through 16 missionary families in 14 countries on 6 continents. We also have 5 itinerant missionaries who travel the world and have ongoing projects in 8 additional countries. Missions Director – Wes Mills gives leadership to this department along with a missions committee. Missionaries are supported through local churches, districts, and by individual donations. As a result of 75 years of missionary work there are 18 national organizations in 16 countries that are affiliated with the Apostolic Church of Pentecost of Canada. There are approximately 3000 ACOP churches worldwide.
ACOP MISSIONS COMMITTEE
The ACOP Missions Committee is comprised of the Missions Director who serves as Chairman of the committee, the Administrator and four portfolio holders who give oversight to ACOP missions operations around the world.
